An Exciting Year for the GRS Science Club as We Celebrate our 42nd Anniversary!
The Glenn Raymond Science Club has been serving students since 1976, providing unique, hands-on activities as an extension to the classroom. Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in activities such as canoeing, model rocketry, amatuer radio, gun safety, and outdoor education.
Mr. Simpson, Mrs. O'Brien, and Mr. Davis are the sponsors of the Science Club and meetings are generally held every Tuesday after school at 3:25pm until 4:00pm in Mr. Simpson's room (Room 115).
First Science Club Meeting will be Tuesday August 29th in Mr. Simpson's Room (115)
Regular Schedule Resumes October 10th!
The W9GRS amateur radio station competed in the October 2015 School Club Round-Up, making nearly 100 contacts operating at only 5 Watts of Power! The crew finished 7th place in the Nation! Great Job!
Congrats to the first awardees of the Worked All States School Stations Award!
