Welcome, Mr. Findlay

A little about Mr. Findlay--

After graduating from Mount Saint Clare College in 1999, I took my first teaching job in the Social Studies Department at Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville, Illinois. After two years, I moved to Savanna, Illinois, to teach English and social studies which later consolidated into West Carroll. At West Carroll, I took on many roles including coaching Track, Cross Country, and Girls Basketball as well as Response to Intervention, Teacher Mentoring, Athletic Director, Student Services, and Technology Coordinator. I also had the opportunity to teach Secondary Methods at Ashford University and Psychology through Highland Community College.

I am beyond excited to be part of Watseka Community High School as Principal. We have an amazing staff who continue to develop the best educational experiences for our students. We are committed to give our students the opportunity to develop and grow as they move on to bigger and better things. Through numerous college and career connection programs we strive to ensure that our students are ready for their future while also providing a space where they can grow.

WELCOME, MR. FINDLAY!
