Dear Watseka Elementary School Parents and Community Members,

My name is Kevin Mikuce and I am the new principal at Watseka Elementary Schools, and I will be overseeing the Kindergarten students at Wanda Kendall and the 1-5th students at Glenn Raymond. 

I have been a part of the Watseka community for 2 years as an administrator and I have appreciated the  support, and empathy that our teachers and staff have demonstrated the past 12 months. It will feel very different when school starts because many of our students will be meeting in-person for the first time.

Knowing this, it will be imperative for us at Watseka Elementary School to understand these challenges and promote a safe learning environment for all students.

At our schools, we believe all children can learn and grow. We are committed to making the experiences of our students the best one possible. We pledge to make each day full of challenging and stimulating learning experiences. We believe that all students are capable of success in the classroom, given they bring a positive and cooperative attitude with them each day.
