Wanda Kendall After School Earth Day Program
In recognition of Earth Day, 39 kindergarteners stayed after school Wednesday, April 20th to learn about ways to help our Earth. They learned about pollution, recycling, and beautifying our planet. The students began their event with having a fresh fruit snack. They saved the remnants to feed a tree they planted at Wanda Kendall in honor of retirees Carol Houmes, Dana Schade, and of Earth Day 2022. The students were also able to plant flowers that they took home to beautify their yards.

The last PTO meeting is this Thursday, April 21 @ 5:30 in the GRS Cafeteria. We will talk about Field Day, voting in new officers, and wish list ideas for events for next year.
