KCC Summer Bridge Program Designed to help students prepare for college-level math and/or English. New students can apply to this bridge program if their math or English placement scores prevent them from directly enrolling in transfer-level courses. Before starting, students will take math and English placement exams. Those who don’t test as “college-ready” in one or both areas can take part in the Summer Bridge Program. *Free to those who have applied to KCC for Fall 2023. $25 per class for all others.

Congratulations to London Starkey & Luis Martinez from Glenn Raymond, Addissen Ulitzsch & Ulysses Moten from WJHS, and Anthony Shervino & Kylee Shoemaker from WCHS for being selected to represent Unit #9 at the Iroquois County Administrators Association student luncheon. They were selected because they are students who excel in the classroom and always chose to make positive choices in and out of school.

Today Mrs. Bandur’s Civics classes went to Springfield to see Lincoln’s house and get a tour of the capital building. We also had the pleasure to visit with our IL State Senator Bennett and IL state Representative Bunting.

The students' posters will continue on to the state competition in Bloomington.
