GRS 2nd grade students did a unit on insects, which included diving into the life of a butterfly, bee and beetle. Blake Froning, 4th grade student, did a 4H project about bees last year at the Iroquois Fair, so second grade - Courtney Stumpfol, worked with fourth grade - Missy Guimond, to arrange for Blake to come into each 2nd grade classroom to present his bee project as a culminating activity to their insect unit.
Blake did a phenomenal job and we are all so proud of his presentation skills and his knowledge of bees. Our 2nd grade students loved having him in the classroom and we loved having Blake share his knowledge with our younger students!

Hey parents! Tomorrow, April 28th is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! This is one of those jobs that require so much and deserve the utmost appreciation. It would be so nice to have your child make a card or do something nice for their bus driver tomorrow. It would mean the world to the driver!! And we do have some pretty awesome drivers at Watseka Schools!
