The WCHS Student of the Month for Math is Elika Hardisty!
Elika is a very good Geometry student who has turned in exceptional work, but she has also shown exceptional critical thinking skills. She both participates in and pushes along the class discovery items and has shown a great work ethic as well. Congratulations and great job, Elika!
The WCHS Student of the Month for Fine Arts is Maya Machev!
Maya has done an amazing job in the fine arts department. She is a great musician, a dedicated leader, and a great example for her peers. Not only does she always do a fantastic job, she is always willing to help other students be successful. Maya has shown great maturity by being able to balance many different activities and responsibilities. Great job, Maya!
The WCHS Student of the Month for Spanish is Hayden Sullivan!
Hayden has done an awesome job in Spanish class by scoring 100% for his first quarter grade. He makes sure all of his work is done on time and isn't afraid to ask for help. He is always willing to help others as well as help his Spanish teacher! Congrats, Hayden!
The WCHS Student of the Month for Science is Nova Carlson!
Nova comes to class prepared and ready to start the day. She is always asking questions in order to better understand what is being discussed and wears a smile on her face. She is polite and respectful to all of her peers and pays attention to detail in her work. Congratulations to Nova!

On October 29, the WCHS’s National Honor Society and the American Red Cross hosted a blood drive in the school Gym. It was a successful day; a lot of people signed up and 31 pints of blood were collected during the drive. Thanks to everyone who gave blood!
