Watseka Preschool Screening will take place on August 5th, 2025, at the Unit 9 District Office (1411 W. Lafayette St. Watseka, IL).
This is a free preschool screening for development, language, vision, and hearing for any child 3-4 years old. Screening is the first step to enter the Unit 9 PFA preschool program next year!
We do currently have a waitlist for the program so please do not sign up if your child does not meet the age requirement for screening. We will have to remove any appointments of children who are not old enough to be screened for enrollment into our program. If your child is younger, you may contact Jeanne Brown for a birth-3 screening at 815-304-4106. This would not put them on our waitlist but would still allow them to receive a free developmental screening on August 5th. We hold screenings every March and August so there are always opportunities in the future.
You do not need to bring anything with you to this appointment but please be prepared to fill out paperwork while your child is being screened.
If you have any questions please email sydni.farris@watsekaschools.org. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA9AC2DA7FCC52-57489127-pfascreening
