September 16 was Mexican Independence Day. GRS students watched an informational video about Mexican Independence Day and participated in a coloring contest. 173 students turned in entries for the contest. First place went to Dax Harris. Second place went to Mayzie Trumble and third place went to Grace Carlson.
All received a piece of candy for participating.
