The Watseka Cross Country boys had a great race last night at the Kankakee All-Area Cross Country meet. Hayden Sullivan crushed his PR time by 31 seconds! He finished the race with a time of 18:00! Drew McTaggart captured third place with a time of 16:17.



The WCHS Marching Warriors will be hosting a special Community Appreciation Performance this Thursday, October 10 at 8:00pm at the Watseka HS football field. The band will perform the show twice in full uniform. Please make plans to join us as we say thank you for all the support and encouragement that you continue to show to our music program!

Today, Sarah Parsons, Maya Machev, Madison Hughes, Quinn Starkey and Taylor Bright attended Tom Bennett's Fall Youth Advisory in Pontiac. Students listened to presenters, brainstormed ideas for change in Illinois, and presented their proposals.

The Watseka Cross Country boys competed in the ROCKtober EPGXC meet tonight. Drew McTaggart ran a 17:03 and took 8th place out of 147 varsity competitors.
Hayden Sullivan ran a 19:28 improving his course time by 29 seconds!
A special shout out to Klaire Eighner, daughter of Watseka Almuni, Justin Eighner, for taking 1st place in the girls varsity race!

Meet your Watseka Invite Champions! 🏆


Watseka Cross Country boys competed in the Herscher Invitational. Drew McTaggart took 1st place out of 109 competitors in the Boys Varsity race with a time of 16:15. Hayden Sullivan had a solid performance with a time of 18:33. Congrats!


Mrs Smith's 3rd grade class enjoyed a fun activity and lesson on Friday with their class business partner, First Trust Bank! We really appreciate when our local business partners and community members visit our classrooms at GRS.


Miss Norder’s kindergarten had the apple-solutely best week learning about apples, bobbing for letters apples, and making apple sauce!

The band will perform the halftime show twice in full uniform.
