WJHS Awards Celebration - Thursday, May 23rd - 8:30 AM


🍩 Dudes & Donuts 🍩
The special dudes in Miss. Bohlmann and Mrs. Feller students’ lives were celebrated this morning. The students made a coaster set with their special guest & enjoyed donuts! Thank you to Mrs. Currys 7th class for helping give back and volunteering at this event.











The WJHS Math Team competed at the Iroquois County Math competition on April 26th. Members include from left to right, Addison Morris, Betsy Newell, Jayden GIbson, Owen Swartz, & Elijah Heeren.


Congratulations to all of the track coaches and athletes as we were represented well at the IESA state track meet this weekend. Our girls 4 x 100 relay (Kinley Daniels, Betsy Newell, Addison Morris, and Aspen Eades) placed and took 8th place at state. What an awesome accomplishment, so make sure you congratulate them when you see them this week.

Unit 9 Life Skills class & Best Buddies program walked with Tayla Maple in her 1 Mile RhettRace. We are so proud of all of these students and the friendships they've created! Continue to support one another!



Today is the last day to make reservations for And All That Jazz. Please call (815) 432-2486 to reserve your seats. Admission is $15 per person and will be taken at the door tomorrow evening. The fun starts at 6pm at Trinity Church in Watseka.

Miss Bohlmann and Mrs. Feller hosted Muffins in the Morning today. Students were able to enjoy painting a birdhouse with the special ladies in their life! 🌸

Join the WCHS Jazz Band and other talented musicians for an evening of live music, great food, a silent auction and great conversation - next Friday, May 17 at Trinity Church starting at 6pm. Seats must be reserved in advance by calling the WCHS Main Office (815) 432-2486. Admisison is $15 per person and will be paid at the door.


Mrs. Bandur’s Civics classes got to the courthouse for the afternoon. We got to hear from Bill Cheatum, Sherriff Perzee, Greg Barrett, and the States Attorney office. We also got to see a prehearing motion. The students enjoyed getting to see what they have been learning about.
