WCHS, WJHS, and GRS will have a lockdown drill next week. Please read the linked letter from Dr. Andriano. This drill is only for grades 1-12. Wanda Kendall will have a drill later this winter and parents will be notified before the drill.

The WCHS Music Department would like to invite you to the annual Christmas Concert featuring the WCHS Concert Band, WCHS Jazz Band and WCHS Concert Choir. The concert will be held on Thursday, December 5 at the Watseka Theater beginning at 7:00 pm.

The NHS Members would like to say thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Veterans Day Assembly & Breakfast. A special thanks to Watseka American Legion & our guest speaker Pastor Ryan Mustered. Also thank you to our band and choir students for providing amazing music and a great song. Thank you to Dr. Andriano & Mr. Eshleman. We also would like to say thank you to Stuart Swalls, of Edward Jones, ABRA of Sheldon, Creative in Wood & Tile & Silo Pub & Eatery for partnering with us on this great event.
And most importantly, many thanks to all the Veterans, not just today, but every day. Your service is greatly appreciated!


WCHS Student Council is partnering with Glenn Raymond School to hold a holiday shop on Friday, December 13 during school hours. At the shop, students can purchase items at a reasonable rate for their family members. Please have your student bring in an envelope with $5-$15 if they plan on shopping the week of December 9th. Teachers will be collecting the envelopes starting December 9th and holding them until Friday for the students. We are excited for this fun activity!! On Sunday, November 3rd, the National Honor Society's Induction Banquet was held at WCHS. The current members welcomed 10 new members, including Taylor Bright, Lydia Heeren, Christa Holohan, Abigail Neukomm, David Parmenter, Cara Petersen, Thayren Rigsby, Noelle Schroeder, Ainsley Urban and
Kyah Westerfield . The ceremony included the presentation of flowers, readings from current members, introduction of the new members, and presentation of pins, along with desserts and time spent with family. Congratulations to all new members!

The WCHS Football and Cheerleading Teams will have their Fall Banquet on November 11.
