WCHS Junior Class Post Prom committee will be serving pork burgers in the WCHS circle drive this Friday evening, April 9th, starting at 4pm (until they sell out). Come out and show your support for the kid's post prom this year and take home a bag of pork burgers! Free will donation (with a suggested price of $3ea).

Attention 2021 Graduating Seniors: • Completion of the FAFSA is a graduation requirement by the Illinois State Board of Education. • Prom will be Friday, May 14, 2021 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Prom will be held in the WCHS cafeteria and our students are welcome to bring a guest/date. • Graduation will take place on Friday, May 28th at 6:30 pm on the football field. Each graduate will receive six (6) tickets to get into the ceremony. The ceremony will also be streamed live on Facebook.

EXCITING PROM UPDATE!! Prom will be Friday, May 14th from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM in the WCHS Gym. Students WILL be allowed to bring an out of town guest but you MUST complete a date request form and health check information will be required. More information to come soon!!

SAT testing pre-ID label completion for all WCHS Juniors will be held from 2-3:15 pm on Wednesday, April 7 & Thursday, April 8th. Bus transportation for those who need it will be available after the completion of the labeling. SAT test will be held on April 13th. Students are to be at WCHS between 7:50 - 7:55 am. Breakfast is available for all who sign up for it in advance.

Attention SENIORS: Troy Hall with Jostens will be here to deliver your 2021 Graduation Order on THURSDAY, MARCH 25TH AND FRIDAY, MARCH 26TH BOTH DAYS DURING LUNCH Please see your invoice for all payment options on or before delivery date. Any senior that still needs to turn in their cap and gown order, this will be the last day to turn in your order, or you may order online www.jostens.com before March 31st. JOSTENS WILL ALSO BE TAKING LETTER JACKET ORDERS! Any student may place an order for a class ring that day as well or use this as a service day to get your class ring repaired or resized. Contact Jostens if you have any questions.

SAT Testing for WCHS Juniors will be April 13th. This will be for ALL Junior students. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the WCHS gym. Please enter student parking lot Door #6 between 7:45 - 7:55 am. You must complete a health verification form before entry into the building. Bus transportation for students who typically ride the bus to school will be provided but afternoon transportation home will need to be arranged. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Please bring a #2 pencil.

Preschool Screening

Good afternoon WCHS parents/guardians! This is just a quick update on the end of the year exam expectations. WCHS will not follow a final exam schedule or have exemptions this year although teachers may give a semester unit assessment during their class period. Students are expected to be in school until the final attendance day. Seniors last day is May 14 and all other students last day will be May 21.

The Watseka public library would like to encourage everyone to attend their book giveaway on Thursday, March 11, and Friday, March 12, from 9AM-5:30, and Saturday, March 13, from 9AM-noon.
