Watseka Jr. High Parents: The 8th Grade student only breakfast will be Friday morning, followed by our 6th - 8th Grade Awards Celebration that parents may attend. Doors 5 and 6 will open for parents to enter the gym at 8:30 a.m. The awards celebration will begin at 8:45 a.m. Parents may sign out their student(s) after the celebration.

So proud of our medalist Lucie Edwards! She placed 7th in the state, throwing 9.34m in the 8th Grade Shot Put. Way to go, Lucie!!

Congratulations to Mystic Monday for placing 15th in the state in the Discus Throw. She threw 21.64m., and to Aspen Eades for placing 12th in the Long Jump. She jumped 4.62m. Fabulous job ladies!

New PR (personal record) for this 4x200 relay team! Pretty impressive to do on the big oval at the IESA State Track Meet. Way to go Boys!!

Great job goes to the WJHS Girl's 4x100 Relay Team! They placed 19th in the IESA State Track Meet. So awesome!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boy's 4x100 Relay Team. They placed 11th at the IESA State Track Meet with a time of 53.23 seconds. Great job boys!

Megan Martin competed at the IHSA Class 1A Girls State Track Meet on Thursday at Eastern Illinois University. She threw the Shot Put for a distance of 10.41 meters (34 feet 2 inches) and placed 22nd overall.
