REMINDER!!!! CAR RIDERS at Glenn Raymond MUST BE DROPPED OFF ON 3rd St. Between Mulberry and Washington Streets. DO NOT DROP OFF AT THE INTERSECTION OF MULBERRY AND 2ND!!! This is so important to help keep our students safe and to keep traffic from getting congested. Thank you James Bunting

Freshman Orientation will be held Monday, Aug 20th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. We will begin in the WCHS cafeteria. Students will have the opportunity to sign up for clubs/organizations, walk through their schedule, and set up their locker. We hope parents are able to join us as well!

If your 5th children are worried about opening their lockers this year please assure them that we will help them learn how. If you want to you can get a lock from Walmart and have them practice on it. It will help them understand the concept.

GRS locker orientation will be Aug. 14th. 5th Grade 5:30PM, 6th Grade 6PM, 7th Grade 6:30PM, and 8th Grade 7PM. The students will get their schedules and locker assignments that evening. Go Utes!

Thank you to everyone that returned their registration info so far. If you still need to register your child you can drop it off at the GRS office.

Mr. Newell is having open gym for any 7th & 8th grade girls basketball player interested in playing basketball this year on Mon 7/23, Tues 7/24, & Wed 7/25 from 5:30 to 7PM at GRS. Go Utes!

WCHS Final Exams will be Friday, June 1st (Testing in Periods 1, 3, 5, & 7) as well as Monday, June 4th (Testing in Periods 2, 4, & 6)

WCHS Awards Night will be Tuesday, May 22nd @ 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. The change of date is due to an abundance of conflicts. A letter will be mailed home if your child will be receiving an award.

We are in need of Ute Council and/or track parents that assist at the concession stand for the May 12th. Sectional. Please call the GRS office to sign up for a time slot if you can help! THANKS

WCHS Spring Concert will be held Tuesday, May 8 - 7pm at the Watseka Theater.

3rd Annual FFA Car Show Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at Watseka Community High School. Pork Sandwich lunch specials. Come support our local FFA. Warrior Pride!

April 4th at 6pm the Watseka School board will meet with Crescent City and Iroquois West School boards at Crescent City Grade School about a feasibility study on consolidation. Everyone is welcome.

The Solo&Ensemble Concert Scheduled for Tomorrow (3/24) at GRS has been cancelled due to potential poor weather conditions.
