WCHS REMOTE students must access Power School & Google Classroom for each class every day to monitor their assignments & grades on a DAILY BASIS. Grades and attendance are recorded. Parents/Guardians - We appreciate your assistance and are asking for you to monitor your child's grades and scores in Power School and to provide motivation with regard to missing work and low scores, confirm their technology is working adequately, remind your student to email teachers with content-specific and assignment-specific questions and reach out to the teacher if there are any questions or concerns.
Watseka FFA will be selling Pork Burgers this Friday Sept. 11th. Pick up is in front of the school in the circle drive. We plan to sell from 4 pm until we sell out! We have 500 pork burgers. The cost is a free will donation, with a $3 suggested sandwich price. Rain or shine! With all proceeds going to Watseka FFA activities. Start your weekend with a BIG bag of burgers for the entire family! See you at 4 pm Friday in the circle drive!!!
If you have purchased and decorated a locker board, WCHS students will be able to hang them up first thing in the morning from September 21st through September 25th. WCHS students will be taking Map Math & Map Literature tests in the next few weeks. All Juniors who attend KACC have been approved by Mr. Guerin at KACC and Mrs. Short at WCHS to miss career center on Sept 10th and Sept 16th in order to take the Map tests. Juniors should arrive at WCHS by 7:45 am on those two days. Reminders will be given to all WCHS Juniors as we approach the dates.

There will be a Post Prom meeting for Junior Class parents in the WCHS cafeteria on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30pm. Social distancing and masks are required for attendance. We look forward to seeing you there!

WCHS Junior Class Post-Prom Parent Meeting
WCHS picture day is Tuesday, August 25th for the Maroon Group and Wednesday, August 26th for the White Group. Also, first hour begins at 8:00 am so students should be in their classrooms prior to this time so they are able to begin class on time. Thank you and have a wonderful evening!
A reminder for all WCHS Full Remote Learners: If you have not picked up your Chromebook & books PLEASE call Mr. Mikuce at the high school at #815.432.2486 extension 4. You are required to get into your Google Classroom for all subjects every day between 7:45 am - 3:15 pm. Work and grades will count and should be completed every day. You may also email your teachers if you have questions.

Due to our football season being moved to the spring, the annual pork burger scrimmage has been cancelled. However, the Warrior Athletic Boosters will still be selling pork burgers next Friday, August 28th. Pick up will be in the circle drive in front of WCHS from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
